A sub group may establish one or more working groups from time to time with responsibility for the implementation and/or development of any specific projects within such sub group's responsibility. The working group shall be responsible for delivering the relevant projects assigned to it and report to the sub group that formed it on a regular basis

Work stream leads are responsible for the delegation of operation, administration, promotion and development of specific areas of the sport and are answerable to the Board, as part of Volleyball England's governance structure.

The deliberations of each working group are reported regularly to the Board. Duties carried out by the leads is performed on a voluntary basis.

In addition to the working groups listed above, there are working groups for beach volleyball, coaching, and the volleyball regions. These are currently inactive.
