Richard Callicott OBE is the Honorary President of Volleyball England. He is also the President of the British Volleyball Federation.
Richard has a strong history in sport and sports administration. He started the Sandwell Volleyball Tournament which, at its peak, became the biggest in Europe. The tournament was even acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records as probably the biggest volleyball tournament in the world when it attracted 420 teams.
Richard is a former Chief Executive of UK Sport, was the Director of Sport for the National Indoor Arena of Sport from 1990-99 and the former British Delegate for the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).
He was recognised for his services to volleyball in the Queen's birthday honours list in 2012.
