Explore the right legal structures for your club workshop

Volleyball England is running an 'Exploring Legal Structures' workshop in conjunction with Buddle specifically for our clubs.

This workshop will help you to understand the different optionsn that are available to your club and highlight any considerations if you are looking to change your legal structure.

Supporting information:

  • This is one of our highly attended workshops in previous years.
  • Knowing the right legal structure for the club can help establish a strong core for long-term planning and growth of the volleyball club in terms of members, finances, and safeguarding.
  • Whether you are a new club or an established club, knowing the right legal structures is a must to ensure the committee members are aware of liability and understand the financial implications.
  • It gives club members an opportunity to understand good governance which helps reduce confusion, increases accountability, and ensures everyone is responsible for the club and knows what is expected from them.

By the end of this online workshop, delegates will be able to:

  • Identify the different types of legal structures and which structure is right for your club or organisation.
  • Identify top tips on effective governance.
