The Big Conversation Prize Draw

Terms and conditions

  1. The Promoter of this Prize Draw is Volleyball England, SportPark, Loughborough University, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, LE11 3QF 
  2. This Prize Draw is open to UK residents who meet the criteria outlined in these terms and conditions.  The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Volleyball England, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of this prize draw. 
  3. To enter the prize draw you must have completed The Big Conversation in full and provided your name and email address when instructed.  
  4. The closing time and date for the Prize Draw is 09:00 Monday 31st July 2023. The Prize Draw will be made before 17:00 Friday 4th August 2023. 
  5. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process administered by the promoter. 
  6. The first name drawn will receive one volleyball signed by the Bello Brothers.  
  7. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.  
  8. The promotor accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with travel and accommodation.  
  9. The winner will be notified by email on the day of the drawing. If a winner does not respond to the promoter within 10 working days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and Volleyball England shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. 
  10. The prize is non-exchangeable, and non-transferable. 
  11. The prize can not be resold or transferred to another person. 
  12. If the first name drawn winner is not able to accept the volleyball signed by the Bello Brothers then no alternative prize will be offered, and the winner must forfeit the prize, which will be returned to the promotor to select another winner in line with these terms and conditions.  
  13. Volleyball England reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the promoter’s control make it necessary to do so. 
  14. Volleyball England shall use and take care of any personal data you supply to it as described in its Privacy Policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry. 
  15. Volleyball England accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this Prize Draw or accepting the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law. 
  16. The prize winner's name may be made available within the Volleyball England website and its social media accounts if the prize winner consents to this. 
  17. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries, where required. 
  18. Participants in the draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 
  19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
