After gaining promotion in the last grand prix, Nottingham Casualties opened the Tier 2 competition against the current sitting champions Sitting Bucks.

After relegation to Tier 2, Lincoln Imps wanted to bounce back and regain their tier 1 spot, facing Help 4 Heroes B and taking the game in straight sets 21-19, 21-15.
Telford Eagles, who just missed out on a promotion spot last GP, also had their eyes set on that prestigious tier 1 space.
This hope was backed up in a tense match against South Hants B, who joined the GP this weekend.
The game went to a tie-break in the first set, with Telford just pipping the South Hants team to the set, 22-20.
Telford then took the second set in a slightly more comfortable way with a 21-18 victory.

Lincoln Imps were keen to not stay in Tier 2 for long with a second match against against South Hants B.
They took the first set 21-5 and looked set on taking the match 2-0. However, Hants B were able to shock the Imps with the second set going their way, 21-11.
But despite this fight back, the East Midlands side snatched the third set 11-4, putting them top of the table after two matches.
After a loss in their first game against Telford Eagles, Panthers took on South Hants B who were looking to get their first win of the competition after two losses to Telford and Lincoln.
Panthers started off strongly with the first set going their way 21-17 but Hants B wanted that first victory, taking the second set 21-18.
But it was not to be this match for Hants, with Panthers showing the experience they had gained from the first GP taking the third set 11-5.
After a loss in their first match of Tier 1, Nottingham Casualties took on Sailsbury Spitfires, who were looking to replicate their success of GP 1.

But it was the Casulaties who were there to cause an upset claiming the third set 11-7, giving them the match 2-1.
After dropping a set to Nottingham in their first game, Sitting Bucks spent the rest of the weekend going unbeaten with 2-0 victories over Help 4 Heroes A, South Hants A and Spitfires.
This put them top of the table in GP 2, with South Hants just pipping Sailsbury Spitfires to the second spot with a one-set advantage.
Lincoln Imps also only dropped one set all weekend against South Hants B with the side in yellow and green getting promoted again to tier 1.
