2023 Inter Regional Championships: Results

2023 Inter Regional Championships: Results

The nine Volleyball regions went head to head across four competitions over the bank holiday weekend (26-29 May), with the brightest young talent from across the country pit against one another at the 2023 Inter Regional Championships.

Boys and Girls teams at both Under 15 & Under 17 level battled it out over the three-day event, with the initial pool stages followed by the semi-finals and playoff matches to decide the final rankings.

It was a clean sweep for London in the Girls tournaments, with their U15 and U17 sides winning finals against South East (2-0) and West Midlands (2-0) respectively.

London, who won three titles in the competition last year, saw their U17 boys add to their impressive trophy haul after beating South West 2-0 in the final.

And it was only Yorkshire's U15 Boys who could stop London completing the clean sweep, as they came from behind to edge a hotly contested final (16-25; 25-13; 15-12).

The official photos from the event can be found on our Facebook page. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the event photographer, Nat Macrae, for giving up his time to cover the event.
