Sitting teams Panthers and South Hants ready for Danish challenge
The tournament will take place on Saturday 7th November and Sunday 8th November at the Grøndal MultiCenter.
Panthers travelled abroad earlier this year and were winners of the KFUM Stavanger International Sit Cup in Norway.
They have again joined forces with Spitfires to go to an international tournament – with a nine-strong team and a great mixture of experienced and newer players.
Long-serving plyer Claire Harvey said: "Panthers are long-term supporters of the Copenhagen tournament. We love it because it is such a friendly and relaxed tournament, but also great volleyball.
"This year there is a bumper turnout of teams, so we are really looking forward to some great play and tough games.
"The Copenhagen tournament really reminds me of the power of volleyball to pull people together, have fun, despite language differences, and enjoy the game, no matter what the outcome.”

South Hants, meanwhile, are returning to the competition having picked up bronze last year and been Ken Edwards Trophy winners domestically in each of the past two seasons (24-25 and 25-26).
They will be represented by a squad of eight – Baz Marsh, Ben Osborne, Gordon Rodwell, Helen Mosely, Mike Knight (from Sitting Bucks), Richard Osborne and Stuart Snow.
Head Coach Richard Osborne says his players are relishing the trip and the chance to measure themselves against overseas opposition.
"The Sit Cup is a well-established competition and is exceptionally well organised with a good standard of competition," said Osborne.
"The hosts are amazing, arranging pick up from the hotel and they organise an incredible social each year, which takes place at a nearby restaurant where various meat dishes are served.
"It is exciting to see that this year the organisers have maxed out on teams, with a total of 10 taking part.
"This includes three teams from Italy, who we haven't encountered before, so it will be interesting to see their ability.
"There are also two teams from Norway, one from Germany, another from Finland, plus two English teams and, of course, our Danish hosts complete the set.
"The scene is set for two days of intense competition, but it is always played in a friendly and relaxed environment - it really is the perfect competition for us."
