kitround sustainability
kitround is a market place build to keep sports kit in play, through reselling and redistributing kit.
By doing so, it helps reduce waste, cut costs for families, and support participation in sport, such as volleyball.
Through Volleyball England's partnership with kitround, we have helped increase sustainability as well as our aim to be more environmentally responsible.

So far this season, we have helped save;
- 662kg CO2e emmissions avoided, which is an increase from our total of 572.76kg from last season. This is the equivalent emissions as driving between Essex and Leeds four times.
- 11,900 Litres of water retained in circulation, enough water to shoewr a full squad for a month.
- 55kg of kit redistributed through kitround, preventing over 13,872 landfill years.
As a reminder, the call will once again go out to individuals and clubs to place any pre-gamed or unused kit or equipment they no longer want or use in the kitbins at any major event held at Loughborough University.
If you are not attending an event, but your club wishes to make a bulk donation, please email communications@volleyballengland.org
Once donated, kit can then be purchased by others at an affordable price online at kitround.com giving it a second lease of life, while helping others to enjoy the sport in an environmentally sustainable way.
