Bookings open for 2026 Club Coach Award courses
Coaches can choose between two technical module options: the indoor (6v6) course at Loughborough University or the beach volleyball course at Cardiff Beach Volleyball.
The Club Coach Award is for coaches who already have an Assistant Coach Award (or equivalent), are operating in a club environment and are at least 18 years of age. Coaches must also hold an active coach membership with Volleyball England.

There are a few grant funds that are available in some areas such as County Active Partnerships. You can find your regional partnership here.
Coaches will need to arrange their own accommodation should they require it.

Beach Club Coach Award
The technical module weekend on 9th and 10th May 2026 will be hosted at Cardiff Beach Volleyball. The course will commence week beginning 2nd March 2026 with an introductory webinar.

Additional course information
Full attendance at all sessions is mandatory in order to pass the course. In your own time you will also be required to complete eLearning modules and a series of assessment tasks.
There are eight spaces available on the course, which will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
The cost is £484*, which includes all and all tuition, assessment and facility fees.
* There is a service fee of 3.2% plus 50p on the VolleyZone booking system.

Access the VolleyZone course portal here.

Select Club Coach Award Course from event group drop down and click search.

Locate the course that you would like to book onto and make a note of the mandatory sessions.

To book onto the course, click register.

You will be prompted to log into your Volleyzone account.

Once logged in you will be taken to the events area within your account. So that the system can check that you are a registered coach, please locate the course that you would like to book onto.

Click add to move this to your basket.

Click checkout to complete payment for the course and confirm your booking.
A welcome email will be sent week beginning 23rd February 2026 once bookings have closed.
