Discover how to better make everyone at your club feel welcome
The latest club workshop focuses on how clubs can create and maintain an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued and able to participate fully.
By embracing inclusivity and accessibility, clubs can expand their reach, strengthen community connections and ensure that volleyball is a sport for all.
Workshop details
This interactive session will explore what inclusivity really means in a club setting and provide practical guidance on how to remove barriers, adapt environments and build a culture where all members, regardless of background, ability or experience can thrive.
Through discussion and reflection, participants will identify inclusive practices that promote belonging, recognise unconscious bias, and learn ways to adapt sessions to meet a range of needs.
By the end of this session, you should be able to:
- Understand what makes an environment inclusive and welcoming
- Identify barriers that may prevent participation and how to address them
- Explore practical steps to make volleyball sessions more accessible to everyone
- Recognise the role of club culture and leadership in promoting inclusivity
