England squad announcement - Nordic Cup 2025

England’s squad is set to compete in an international tournament at Helle Hallen, Denmark, from July 31st to August 2nd. The event will see England face off against tough competition, including hosts Denmark, France, and Norway.
The team includes several players who featured in this year’s Five Nations Championships and Novotel Cup, providing an excellent opportunity to build on recent progress and continue developing against high-calibre opposition.
Following England’s victorious Five Nations campaign, head coach Simon Loftus joined the U22 men’s team in Italy for the CEV U22 Qualifiers, where he identified promising prospects for the future. Among them is Luke Atkinson, who joins the current squad after gaining valuable experience both in Italy and during a season in the USA.
England regular Nathan Fullerton brings leadership and composure to a squad featuring many familiar faces from last year's Nordic Cup and Novotel Cup. His presence will be key in guiding a developing group through high-pressure matches.
Also included are four professional players, each eager to demonstrate the intensity and standards required to compete in Europe. Among them are Ben Lucas and Ephraim Mills, teammates at ASV Elite and central figures in the gold medal-winning Five Nations squad.
