Role vacancies - Technical Delegates
Background
Due to the increase in the number of events Volleyball England is staging Volleyball England is seeking to add to its team of Technical Delegates who help deliver major events at a variety of venues.
The Role
The Technical Delegate supports the Event Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the event by meeting all Volleyball technical requirements. Their primary focus is on the Field of Play (FoP), while the Event Manager handles areas outside the FoP.
Technical Delegates not only have experience in the technical conduct of events but also to be well informed in specific areas of increasing importance such as coordination with technology, event presentation and livestreaming.
Volleyball England is seeking Technical Directors with strong interpersonal skills who can foster a collaborative environment and efficiently and diplomatically address and resolve issues.
Technical Directors must also have a working knowledge of FIVB/WPV Rules, of the Game and FIVB/CEV/WPV/PVE/Volleyball England competition rules and regulations and demonstrate high attention to detail to ensure compliance.

Training
Training will take place on Wednesday 11th December (online) between 7.30pm to 9.30pm and during the Five Nations Championship (in person) from 3rd to 5th January at the National Volleyball Centre.
All training costs (travel, accommodation and subsistence) will be met by Volleyball England.
