Time to Listen - Multi-sport Workshop (For CWO)

This 3 hour workshop for Club Welfare Officers will describe how a club welfare officer works with others to create a child centered environment and how the CWO role fits into the wider safeguarding environment and how to share good practice.



Safeguarding Adults in Sport – Essential Training for CWO

This training covers the essentials of safeguarding adults for Club Welfare Officers, including how to identify and respond concerns and disclosures and how to create a safe culture within your club.

UK Coaching Safeguarding & Protecting Children Course (For Coaches & CWO)

This course is for all coaches to raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately, and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.

UK Coaching Safeguarding Adults Course (For Coaches)

This online course will give coaches the knowledge & confidence to safeguard adults at your sessions, including those identified as ‘at risk’. Learning how to create a safe environment in which all adults can enjoy sport & physical activity.

A safe coaching environment is an environment in which people feel comfortable to try new things - key to learning, growing and developing their skills. These will help apply the principles of safe practice to your and create a great experiences for all.


Child protection in sport and physical activity

An introductory e-learning for safeguarding children and young people in sport or physical activity. This training will allow you to identify and recognise signs of abuse and recognise, respond, report and record concerns, applying good safeguarding in your environment.


UK Coaching - Duty to Care Digital Badge

This is a good focus point for coaches and other club volunteers to refresh themselves on the wider Duty to Care. This is a free resource and looks at 6 pillars of Diversity, Inclusion, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Physical Wellbeing, Safeguarding & Safe to Practice.
