Commonwealth Collective awarded Time to Shine Award by Volleyball England Board

The Birmingham 2022 Beach Volleyball volunteer team, known as the Commonwealth Collective, have been awarded a special Time to Shine Award by the Volleyball England Board of Directors.

The accolade, which was presented at our 2023 Annual Awards ceremony during Cup Finals weekend, recognises the hard work, commitment, and energy of the volunteers that helped to make Beach Volleyball a huge success at the Commonwealth Games.

In a message to the Commonwealth Collective, Clare Francis, Independent Director on the Volleyball England Board of Directors, said:

"You're a winner! You were such a big part of Birmingham 2022 - we said the event was Our Time to Shine, and it was you that made it happen and helped to ensure Beach Volleyball really performed on the World stage.
