Volleyball England calendar for 2026-27 released
The document includes all the key dates for next season in terms of volleyball and sitting volleyball competitions, including Super League, NVL, Juniors, Sitting Grand Prix, National Cup and Shield and Student Cup.
It also includes other important events, such as National Talent Camps (volleyball and beach volleyball), workforce dates, international competitions and Volleyball England events and meetings.
Please note that the calendar will be added to as other events – such as Super League Live dates, for instance – are finalised. Listings in yellow are currently intended, but not yet confirmed.
Among the dates to be confirmed are those for Super League Opening Weekend, which will this year take place on 31st October and 1st November 2026.
The three-week break for Christmas will begin on the weekend of 19th and 20th December and also incorporate 26th and 27th December and 2nd and 3rd January 2027.
Super League Final 4 will be staged over the weekend of 10th and 11th April 2027, followed by the NVL play-offs on 17th and 18th April 2027 (could be one day) and Cup Finals Weekend 27 on 24th and 25th April 2027.
The first round of NVL matches gets underway on 3rd and 4th October 2026, with the 26-27 regular season campaign concluding on 20th and 21st March 2027.
Before that, the National Shield is set to open up the season with prelim matches on 5th and 6th September 2026, while the National Cup starts on the weekend of 14th and 15th November 2026.
The Sitting Grand Prix begins in earnest on Sunday 4th October 2026, while the first of the Student Cup qualifiers get underway on 14th and 15th November 2026 and the Junior calendar starts on 3rd and 4th October 2026, with U18 matches.
The indoor season will be rounded off on 29th and 30th May 2027 with the Inter Regional Championships 2027.
