The competition has been running for 10 years and is named after Ken Edwards, a stalward and administrator of sitting volleyball.
Last year, there were two thrilling finals with South Hants winning the Cup against Help for Heroes and Lincoln Imps winning the Shield final against Nottingham Casualties.
This season, Loughborough University has been welcomed as the new home of all Volleyball England competitions. Loughborough is renowned as one of the best sporting venues in the country with a rich history.
Dates and who can enter
This year, the Volleyball England Sitting Volleyball Cup will be taking place on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
Entries are open to overseas teams based anywhere in Europe, in addition to domestic teams.
Previous overseas teams to feature include Copenhagen, who have taken part in editions of the Grand Prix, as well as the Norwegian men's national team, who won the Shield competition in 2024.

Entry details
The maximum number of teams who can enter is 10, with a minimum of five teams required to be able to run the event.
Cost per team is £92.50 for affiliated teams with Volleyball England and £111 for non-affiliated teams.
The format will see teams drawn at random on the morning of the competition to determine who plays who, where each team is guaranteed at least four matches throughout the day.

There are hotels located directly on or very close to the university campus.
Teams will be responsible to book their own accommodation if needed.

Teams from outside the UK can pay with bank transfer.
