Divisional winners and MVPs attend trophy presentation

NVL Divisional Winners and MVPs were recognised for their excellence during the 2024-25 season on Sunday at a presentation held on Sunday as part of Cup Finals Weekend.

Representatives from those respective clubs attended a ceremony at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering to pick up their trophies.

The ceremony was led by MC Mark Perkins, with Board Directors Tracy Newton and Simon Cowie presenting the trophies and awards.

“It was great to welcome so many teams and players who have shone during this NVL season and see them rewarded for their efforts,” said Volleyball England’s Project lead for Competitions and Events, Beth Willetts.

“There were some truly outstanding performances from these champion teams, not least Wombourne and Reading Aces (women) and Oxford Bulls (men) who went unbeaten throughout their league campaigns, while many of the MVP winners made a vital difference to each of the teams they played for.

“We look forward to following the teams’ progress as they transition to a higher level following promotion, as well as seeing how the MVP’s follow up their superb seasons going into 2025-26.”
