Dates set for latest Coach Award courses
Indoor (6v6) and beach volleyball courses will all hold the residential weekend on 10th and 11th May 2025 at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering. The courses will commence week beginning 4th March 2025 with an introductory webinar.
The Coach Award is for coaches who already have an Assistant Coach Award (or equivalent), are operating in a club environment and are at least 18 years of age. Coaches must also hold a coach registration with Volleyball England.
The cost is £550*, which includes bed, breakfast, and evening meal on Saturday 10th May, all and all tuition, assessment and facility fees.
Indoor and Beach course dates
Webinar 1: option of 4th or 6th March 2025 (7.30pm to 9pm).
Residential weekend: 10th and 11th May 2025.
Webinar 2: option of 9th or 10th July 2025 (7.30pm – 9pm).
Bookings close: 23rd February 2025.

Additional course information
Full attendance at all sessions is mandatory in order to pass the course. In your own time you will also be required to complete eLearning modules and a series of assessment tasks.

There are 24 spaces available on the indoor course and 16 on the beach course, which will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

How to book

Access the VolleyZone course portal here.

Select Coach Award Course from event group drop down and click search.

Locate the course that you would like to book onto and make a note of the mandatory sessions.

To book onto the course, click register.

You will be prompted to log into your Volleyzone account.

Once logged in you will be taken to the events area within your account. So that the system can check that you are a registered coach, please locate the course that you would like to book onto.

Click add to move this to your basket.

Click checkout to complete payment for the course and confirm your booking.
A welcome email will be sent the week beginning 24/02/2025 once bookings have closed.
