Super League Final 4 to be held at Crystal Palace

The men’s and women’s top-flight finalé – where the top four teams come together to play-off to become overall champions – was last season played at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering. 

This season’s top-flight finale will move to the capital and be staged on the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025. 

Volleyball England’s Strategic Manager for An Ace Service, Rob Payne, hopes the change in location for the event can help attract supporters, family and friends to watch in person.

 “There is a very large, diverse and enthusiastic volleyball community in London and we hope they will be very excited to have what is one of English indoor volleyball’s flagship events happening on their doorstep,” he said. 

“The support for the recent Queen & King of the Court event in London was terrific and most welcome. To have that kind of backing again for Final 4 would really lift the atmosphere and make it a great competition to play in. 

“In taking the summer’s NEVZA Youth Beach event to Bridlington, last season’s Student Cup to Norwich and this season’s Super League Live events around the country, we want to give as much of the volleyball community the chance to come along to an event without having to travel too far. 

“We will continue, where possible, to look at a number of venues in different parts of England to give everyone the opportunity to have an event close to them, but we’re also very pleased to have the centrally-located National Volleyball Centre (NVC) in Kettering as our go-to venue for the majority of events.” 

Last season Durham Palatinates completed a men’s and women’s double in what was the inaugural Final 4 competition. 

The North East club’s women gained revenge in beating Team SideOut Polonia, having lost to the London Club in the National Cup Final a week earlier. 

The men, meanwhile, were winners against IBB Polonia, having also edged out Malory Eagles in the National Cup Final.
