Cup and Shield draw infomation

With a new look to both major competitions with the Cup and Shield, the live draw will add an extra level of excitement to the competition and will take place on Tuesday 30th July at 4pm. 

The draw will be live streamed on Volleyball England's YouTube channel. 

Teams in the National Shield have been drawn into regional groups where they will be drawn against teams in the round of 64 and then the draw for the round of 32 will also be drawn. 

In the men’s Shield, 13 teams have been drawn in all four of the regions (South East, North, Central and South West).

In the Women’s Shield 10 teams are in the South East and South West with the Northern and Central regions both having 11 teams in. 

For the Men's and Women's Cup it will be a national competition with no zonal areas. 

Each team has been given a number which will be drawn at random by our team with the first team drawn being at home and the second drawn playing as the away team.* 

*The Isle of Man will automatically be drawn as an away team.
