ParalympicsGB can help you Discover Your Paralympic Potential – here’s how.
The Paralympic Potential programme is the first step in finding out what your future Paralympic sport – which includes Sitting Volleyball – could be.
If you want to find a competitive pathway and unlock the opportunities that sport offers, then now is the time to discover your Paralympic Potential - could you #BeTheFuture?
During 2024, “Discover Days” are being hosted for athletes with a physical impairment.

Sports you can try or find out more about will include:
Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boccia, Canoe, Cycling, Powerlifting, Rowing, Shooting, Sitting Volleyball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Triathlon, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Tennis, Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-country Skiing, Para Ice Hockey, Snowboard, Wheelchair Curling - all sports that are part of the Paralympic Games.
Please note that not all sports will be showcased at each event, but more information will be shared nearer the time.

Dates and venues for the next two events have now been confirmed and individuals (10 years or order with a physical impairment) are now being invited to sign up and come along.
- Sunday 17th March at the University of Nottingham.
- Saturday 6th April at the University of Bath.
Each day will give the chance to speak to various sports’ National Governing Bodies about their Paralympic pathways, National Disability Sport Organisations, Paralympics GB staff, classifiers... and meet ParalympicsGB medallists!

Further come and try days for disabled people with other impairments, such as visual and intellectual impairments, will be held throughout 2024.
