Super League round 10 preview: Suzy Stevenson on creating a club from scratch

Darkstar Derbyshire's Suzy Stevenson is one of the club's founding members. Since 2011 Suzy has helped develop the club with junior sections and the women's team competing in the Super League.

With the aim of having both men and women compete in the Super League, we spoke with Suzy about what that takes.

Darkstar travel to forth place Essex Rebels this weekend. This is Darkstar's first match of 2024 with hopes to start the year off with a great result. 

As one of the founding members of the club Suzy has seen the club go from strength to strength but isn't without its issues and set backs. The club has grown since 2011 and is looking to hit 200 members in the near future.
