The agreement will see Destination Sport Travel coordinate the travel requirements for the men’s and women’s senior and age group national teams, whilst also supporting Volleyball England’s staff with their day-to-day travel requirements through its specialist business travel service.

“We’re thrilled to announce Volleyball England as our latest partner, further demonstrating the specialist travel management service that Destination Sport Travel provides to national governing bodies and federations,” said Destination Sport Group Head of Business Development, Andrew Boyle.

“Volleyball England does a fantastic job in administering and promoting volleyball across multiple disciplines, and we’re delighted to be part of the journey and play our small part in the continued development of the sport.”

Volleyball England’s Strategic Manager for Talent, John Forman, says tapping into Destination Sport Travel’s expertise will be invaluable in easing logistical pressure, as well as keeping down costs.

He added: “Our national teams have been increasing their participation in competitions and training opportunities abroad in recent times, with more expected in the future. That’s raising the demands on our staff to organise those trips, which is something that can be extremely time-intensive.

“We’re really excited for this new partnership with Destination Sport to help us manage all that travel and free up a greater amount of our time to focus efforts on growing and developing our programmes.”
