Evans and Keefe, Bello and Seekings join Brits to play Queen & King of the Court London Showcase

Anaya Evans and Katie Keefe are the first British women players to be announced as playing at the Queen and King of the Court (QKOTC) London Showcase on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September.

Joining them for the eagerly-awaited spectacular being staged at Canada Square in Canary Wharf (E14 5AH) - which is free to attend as a spectator (no ticket needed) – will be fellow Beach Pro Tour competitors Enrique Bello and Josue Seekings.

Evans, 25, and Keefe, 21, are both based at Grand Canyon University in the United States and will be flying back across the Atlantic to showcase their skills.

The pair, originally from the North Devon and London areas respectively, have played together regularly this summer, first coming together to play for England in the Nations Cup in Madrid in May.

They claimed a fifth-place finish in the Beach Pro Tour Futures event in Messina, Italy in June and also competed in Halifax, Canada.

Bello, 20, and Seekings, 29, meanwhile, have enjoyed a breakthrough year on the Beach Pro Tour, claiming two top-five spots in Futures events at Corigliano Rossano, Italy and Spiez, Switzerland.

They have also competed in Leuven, Belgium and have been out in Qidong, China this week, ensuring they are well prepared for what is a home event for the London-based pair.

The latest four confirmed players join the other Brits already announced - men’s duos Javier and Joaquin Bello and Freddie Bialokoz and Issa Batrane.

International players to have committed to QKOTC London so far include Marie-Sára Štochlová  (Czechia) and Sunniva Helland-Hansen (Norway), New Zealanders Alice Zeimann and Olivia MacDonald, Austrians Felix Friedl and Alexander Huber and Estonians Mart Tiisaar and Dmitri Korotkov.

Overall, there will be 20 teams (10 women, 10 men) who will line up for the event, with a mixture of overseas stars and homegrown talent to fill the berths. The other pairings to play will be announced in due course.
