Expression of interest sought for National Volleyball Centre

Volleyball England is seeking expressions of interest from venues to host the National Volleyball Centre for the next four years.

An Expression of Interest (EOI) phase, followed by a full Tender has opened today (3/8/2016) and Volleyball England is inviting expressions of interest from parties that could become the home of volleyball in England from 2017 to 2021.

Rohan West, participation director at Volleyball England, said: “As a part of our Strategy 2024 vision for the future, Volleyball England will look for a world class facility partner to host its competitions, events, courses, conferences and England squad training and camps.

“We are trying to find the best facility/s and services to meet organisational and member needs.”

The current contract between Volleyball England and Phoenix Leisure for the use of the Kettering Arena and Conference Centre as the National Volleyball Centre for Volleyball England is due to expire on 31 March 2017.

Submissions can be made by responding to the guidelines outlined in the expression of interest document by Friday 16 September.
