New Volunteer Pin Badges

4th January 2012

New Volunteer Pin Badges

The input from volunteers at all levels is hugely appreciated by Volleyball England and to link in with the importance of volunteers in the Olympics and Paralympics we are launching commemorative Volleyball England volunteer pin badges in 2012.

Bronze pin badges will be awarded for volunteers who have contributed 5 years of service to volleyball, Silver pin badges for those who have contributed 10 years and Gold pin badges for those who have contributed 20 years.

It is thanks to the tireless support from volunteers that volleyball in England has developed to such a degree to cater for players of all abilities in volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball.

In order to receive a pin badge volunteers need to complete a short application form available from Ilona Berry (National Volunteer and Leadership Development Officer) on i.berry@volleyballengland.org or 01509 227713.  The pin badges will then be sent out in March, June, September and December to applications received in the preceding 3 months.
