Club Affiliation

We are here to support you in developing volleyball in your club & community, providing the necessary support & resources to thrive. Club affiliation to Volleyball England enables clubs to show they have the correct governance along with safe and effective practice in place. Here, you can learn how to affiliate your club and find out the benefits of affiliating with Volleyball England. Our membership season runs from 1st August to 31st July every year.

The club affiliation process has been refreshed with the launch of the new VolleyZone. All clubs are required to complete the following before club affiliation is approved:

  • Complete the correct club affiliation form and make the payment. As part of this form, you need to confirm the following:
  • Your Club Details are update on your VolleyZone Club Admin Account.
  • Your Club Committee role profiles are up to date. The following roles are mandatory: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer & a Club Welfare Officer listed on VolleyZone.
  • Upload a copy of your club constitution (a template is available on the Volleyball England website here) and safeguarding policy (you can either adopt the Volleyball England Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy (if you have U18s), the Volleyball England Safeguarding Adult Policy (if you have O18s) or create your own policy using the CPSU template) on your club admin account. If you have both Juniors & Adults, you will need to have both policies in place.

Once your club affiliation form has been completed, this will be checked by Volleyball England staff. You will be able to check the status of your club affiliation under 'Events Purchased' on your club admin account. If there any issues, your club will be contacted via the contact details listed on VolleyZone.
