Sources of Funding

Volley 123 Volley 123 accredited clubs can receive funding annually. This funding is provided directly from Volleyball England, once clubs achieve accreditation they can apply for a grant straight away, the level of accreditation depends on the amount of the award.

       Sport England                                                                                                                            The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

For example, we might help a sports club expand its age range by helping it to buy extra team kit or pay additional coaching fees. Or we may help youth clubs work together with local sports clubs to get more young people playing sport. Click here for further information.

Sports Match Sports Match is a government funded scheme set up to fund grass roots and community sports in England. They match NEW sponsorship money with sports match money on a pound for pound basis.
It is directed at projects which aim to increase participation in sport at grass roots level, and/or improve basic skills. For further information visit www.sportsmatch.co.uk

Community Amateur Sports Club Scheme The Community Amateur Sports Club Scheme (CASC) offers local sports clubs a number of significant tax breaks and the possibility of claiming rate relief from their local authorities. The measures are designed to help keep money in the grassroots sport sector and to help community sport and recreation clubs secure the financial health of their organisations. Barclays Spaces For Sports
Clubs can apply for funding and free coaching kit from Barclays Spaces For Sports campaign. The kit contains, Training bibs, Training cones, Whistles, Water bottles, Stop watches, T-shirts, Baseball caps, Coach's jacket, Coach's clipboard, First aid kit, Team bag and tote bags.

Community Foundation Network

Community Foundation Network
Community Foundations are charities that are located throughout the UK that are dedicated to strengthening local communities, creating opportunities, and tackling issues of disadvantage and exclusion. Community Foundations cover 94% of the population of the UK so chances are you have a local organisation. To find your local Community Foundation you can visit the Community Foundation Network website that has a search facility for all Community Foundations. Every community foundation is different and offer as many as 90 different sources of funding. Many of these are from funds donated by individuals or organisations.
